How much does it cost?

The cost of producing a Brightclip can vary substantially based on your particular situation and needs. See our Pricing and Options page for some examples or contact us toll free at 1 (866) 817-6955 and we will be happy to discuss your specific situation and give you a rough estimate of costs.

How long does it take to create a Brightclip?

Simple Brightclips can often be completed in 24 hours. Complex clips sometimes take many months to complete. It also depends on the client and how quickly they can review and comment on drafts. If you're in a hurry, or have a specific deadline, we'll work with you to meet your needs.

How much work do I have to do?

Most of our clients do nothing except answer some questions and review and comment on drafts. Some prefer to take a more active role. It really depends on you.

Can I choose the visuals?

Absolutely! When we do the storyboarding, we normally do a photo/visual search as part of that process. If you have visuals you would like us to use we will certainly do so.

Do I get to see some of the Brightclip before it is completed?

Absolutely. Our development process allows you to review each step as we progress.

How much do you charge for changes?

First of all, we will correct any mistakes or defects for free. Minor changes can often be completed very inexpensively. More significant changes will cost more.

Can I get different versions for different markets?

Of course. It's not uncommon to want to tailor the same basic Brightclip slightly for several different target markets. Since these differences are usually minor, the total cost of several versions is often not much more than the cost of a single Brightclip.

How is a Brightclip different from a Video?

Brightclips differ from video in three important ways:

Size – Even using the most advanced technology, video is at least 50 to 100 times larger than a Brightclip of equivalent length and viewing size. When you want to appeal to a large audience using the internet as a delivery medium, this is a critical difference. Brightclips will download faster and play without interruption even on relatively slow connection. Your viewers simply won’t wait for your slowly downloading video. They will lose patience and quit before they ever hear your message.

Convenience – There are numerous video players that work over the web and they often use incompatible formats. When the user goes to play a video in their browser, they are often faced with a decision regarding which player to use – which is not only confusing to many, but it diminishes the quality of the experience. Brightclips play with the Macromedia Flash player, which is installed by default in virtually every computer sold today. The player operates without the user even knowing about it - presenting your message without distraction.

Interactivity – Video is a one-way medium, in other words it can’t receive input from the viewer and act on that input. Brightclips can be designed with just about any kind of interaction you can imagine. You can include links to web pages, where one click will open a new browser window and display that page. You can include forms within the Brightclip that allow the user to provide feedback or request more information. You can provide a simple menu that let’s the viewer decide which parts of the clip to view. You can ask the viewer a few questions at the beginning of the clip and then run only those parts of the clip that would most interest them. You can conduct a mini-survey. You can test the user’s understanding with built in test questions. You can even create interactive games that run directly within the Brightclip. The possibilities are nearly limitless.
